It is true that the audiences have been getting significantly younger, and more mixed. But “30 – 50s. Mostly Female” remains an unlikely description of a King Crimson audience. If that is where they targeted their advertising, it is perhaps not surprising that the attendance fell somewhat shy of their expected 3,500.
These shows continue to be extraordinary.
